FishDaddy401 started in January 2021, yes I know, right in the middle of a pandemic. What better time to start a business? The funny thing is, during this time many people have rediscovered their love for the outdoors, and especially fishing. More people are getting out, being active and fishing. This has caused an interest in new and innovative baits and lures for fishing. In October of 2020 I met some new people that introduced me to the methods and madness of making my own baits. This was a very short lived hobby as the attention I drew while making baits showed me that there was demand for these items. I looked into packaging and labels and then FishDaddy401 was official. Since our start we have shipped baits all over the USA, from Alaska to Hawaii, Florida to Maine and everywhere in-between. We even supply local bait shops with product for their shelves.
The name Fishdaddy401 came from my daughters. I have four daughters and love to spend time with them. I had interest in starting a fishing IG page and asked them what a good name would be. They told me FishDaddy because I like to fish and I’m Daddy, couldn’t have come up with anything better if I tried. So FishDaddy401 was born.
